Getting Started
Installation
Splitstorm is available on both iOS and Android. You can find it in the App Store or Google Play Store by searching for "Splitstorm".
First Steps
Upon installing the app, you'll be greeted with a changelog, as well as the home page. At the bottom is the navigation bar, which lets you switch from the home page, stopwatch, and teams hub. We will go over what each page is for in the next couple sections.
Home Page
The home page acts primarily as a quick access menu for all of your splits. To start, the top of the home page is called the app bar. On the top right of the app bar contains a menu button, which you can click to access our contact information, website, store, and about page. It also acts as another way to sign in to Splitstorm Network.
Below the app bar is the "Previous Splits" section, which contains all of the splits you have taken and saved to your phone. As you use this app, this section will populate with more and more splits. You can scroll horizontally through these splits, and tap on any split to view it in the local history, which we will go over later.
Below the "Previous Splits" section is the "Recent Team Updates" section, which contains all of the splits posted to teams you are a part of. Like the "Previous Splits" section, you can scroll horizontally, howecver tapping on the splits will take you to the team's own history, rather than your local history. We will go over teams and its functionalities in a later section.
Stopwatch
The stopwatch is where you will take splits. In the app bar, there is an info button, configure button, and save button. The info button opens a popup that explains how to use the stopwatch, the configure button allows you to configure the stopwatch, which we will go over later, and the save button allows you to save your splits after you are done taking them.
Under the app bar from top to bottom is the race distance, split distance, main timer, split timer, stopwatch buttons, and split table.
To start the stopwatch, simply tap the "Start" button on the right side of the screen. Once the stopwatch is running, you can tap the "Split" button to take a split. You can also pause the stopwatch at any time using the buttons on the bottom. You can also press the "Undo" button to undo a split that you took.
Information from splits will also be displayed on the splits table. It includes the split number, runner name, total distance ran, split time, and total time.
